to find the triggers. From photo albums to the trunk in the attic, we'll
show you where the stories begin.
What
you need to do: find the story triggers. Along with the photographs,
find the physical objects that will generate stories. Family heirlooms
like watches, rings, and other jewelry... favorite toys... cigarette
cases... newspapers and magazines... old letters and recipes. Especially
recipes, because they can be so personal. Even furniture -- maybe you
have a bed where multiple generations have slept... a dresser that still
smells of cedar... grandpa's old smoking stand.
What

complete production.

classes show you the way: Classes and workshops provide
you with the basics of storytelling in words and images so you can get
started on your own.

consultations walk you through the process: One-on-one
consultations help you sharpen your skills and keep you on track with
organizing your images and writing your stories.

complete productions give you a ride: This includes full-service
video memoir production, including on-camera or audio interviews, writing
and narration, image editing, and music.
